Getting A CSV Dump From The Server

This entry is part 9 of 10 in the series BMLT Administration

It is possible to download a search as a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) dump.

This allows you to import data into programs like Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Access.

First, you need to log in as an administrator. This is done at the root server (it is not done at the satellite). Once you have logged in, then select the “Advanced Search” tab in the initial search screen.

At the bottom of the screen, you will see a menu that gives you two choices for a CSV dump. One is a “full” CSV dump that gives every field that you are authorized to view, and the other is a special format, delivered in a fashion that NAWS has specified for their own database updates.
