Who’s Using the BMLT?
The following sites represent the current known “official” implementations of the BMLT. To date, the 38 implementations below cover over 7,000 meetings, in fifteen Regions, one Metro Area, and two Areas, spanning six nations, and using twelve different root servers. There are several other Regions and Service Bodies currently testing and implementing the BMLT.
The little icon to the left of each screenshot indicates the technology used for the satellite. It can be:
- The Sites That Implement the BMLT:
UKNA Region This is a site that uses the UKNA root server.
German-Speaking Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) This is a site that uses the German-Speaking Region root server, and is localized in German.
The Greater New York Region (New York). This site uses the Greater New York root server.
The Eastern New York Region (New York). This site uses the Greater New York root server.
The Free State Region (Maryland). This site powers the region that covers Baltimore, and a section of the Maryland Eastern Shore, as well as the C&P Region, that covers Western Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. It uses the Free State root server.
The Chesapeake & Potomac Region (Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia). It uses the Free State root server.
The Tejas-Bluebonnet Region (Texas). This site links to the TBRNA root server.
Red River Region (Texas & Oklahoma). This site links to the TBRNA root server.
The Lone Star Region (Texas) This Region shares the TBRNA root server.
The Oklahoma Region (Oklahoma). This is an RSC that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Connecticut Region (Connecticut). This is an RSC that implements its own root server.
The Bluegrass-Appalachian Region. This is a site that uses the Bluegrass-Appalachian root server.
NA Sweden This Region uses the NA Sweden root server, and is localized to Swedish.
NA Minnesota (Minnesota and North Dakota) This Region uses the NA Minnesota root server.
NA Milwaukee This is the site that uses the Milwaukee Area root server.
NA Orlando This is the first ASC in the Florida Region to use the BMLT. We expect it will soon have company, as the Webservant for that ASC is also the NA Florida Webservant. It uses the Florida Region BMLT Root Server
River Coast NA This is another Florida Region ASC that uses the Florida Region BMLT Root Server.
The Esperanza Area (Texas). This is a site for an ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that uses the TBRNA root server.
The Coastal Bend Area (Texas). This is a site for an ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that links to the TBRNA root server.
The Brazos Valley Area (Texas). This is a site for another ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that links to the TBRNA root server.
The Southeast Texas Area. This is another site that runs an ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that links to the TBRNA root server.
The Tri-County Area (Texas). This is an ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Central Texas Area (Texas) This is a site that runs an ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Hill Country Area (Texas) This site powers an ASC within the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Dallas Area (Texas). This is an ASC within the Lone Star Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Oklahoma Eastern Area (Oklahoma). This is an ASC within the Oklahoma Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Oklahoma Western Area (Oklahoma). This is an ASC within the Oklahoma Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
The Plains Area (Oklahoma). This is an ASC within the Oklahoma Region that shares the TBRNA root server.
NA Kentucky (The Bluegrass-Appalachian and Kentuckiana Regions in Kentucky). This site uses the Bluegrass-Appalachian Regional root server.
Kentucky Survivors Area (Kentucky). This site uses the Bluegrass-Appalachian Regional root server.
Grassroots Area (Kentucky). This site uses the Bluegrass-Appalachian Regional root server.
Cumberland Area (Kentucky). This site uses the Bluegrass-Appalachian Regional root server.
The Northeast Freedom Area (Maryland). This site uses the Free State root server.
The Bay Cities Area (California). This site uses their own root server.
The Suffolk Area Service (New York). This was the site that ran the original meeting search that acted as a prototype for the BMLT, and uses the Greater New York root server.
The Nassau Area Service (New York). This site uses the Greater New York root server.
The Western Queens Area Service (New York). This site uses the Greater New York root server.
The New York City Area Service (New York). This site uses the Greater New York root server.
- The “Root” Servers:
- The Tejas-Bluebonnet Region Root Server (Texas). This is the main (“root”) server, for the Regional database for the Tejas-Bluebonnet Region, the Red River Region, the Lone Star Region, and the Oklahoma Region.
- The Free State Region Root Server (Maryland). This is the root server for the Free State Region and the C&P Region.
- The Greater New York Region Root Server (New York). This is the central root server for the Greater New York Region, and the Eastern New York Region.
- NA Minnesota Root Server. This is the server that serves the Minnesota Region of NA.
- NA Milwaukee Root Server This is the basic root server for a Metro Area that comprises two ASCs in the Greater Milwaukee Area
- UKNA Root Server This is the basic root server for the UKNA Region.
- German-Speaking Region Root Server This is the basic root server for the German-Speaking Region.
- The Bluegrass-Appalachian Region Root Server. This is the main server for the two Regions (Bluegrass-Appalachiana and Kentuckiana) that serve Kentucky, and a part of Virginia.
- The Florida Region Root Server. This is the main server for The Florida Region.
- The Connecticut Region Root Server. This is the main server for The Connecticut Region.
- The Swedish Region Root Server. This is the main server for NA Sweden.
- The Bay Cities Area Root Server. This is the main server for The Bay Cities Area.
